The one item that always completes my outfit is a hat. Most people know this about me, just take a look at my instagram account and you'll understand!
Today I am going to share some pictures on how to style a hat and how to embrace my favorite accessory.
My brother recently move to Charleston, SC and what better excuse to pay a visit. As a girl from Boston I am well accustomed to our freezing rain and gray days and Charleston was the perfect long weekend getaway. After arriving, I realized I forgot one of my #summeressentials, a hat!
Later that day I discovered the Historic Charleston City Market and this K.Keith straw hat. It fit perfectly and protected my pale skin from the southern rays (I look tan because I got my first spray tan ever). I paired my new hat with a Cloth&Stone white v-neck and the next day with my favorite new wrap top from Madewell. The best part about this beach hat is that it folds up and is perfect for traveling. A summer must!

On our second trip to SLC we faced canceled flights, airport cots, canceled car rentals and lost airbnb expenses. But shortly after arrival from our 24 hour long ordeal we freshened up in our lovely Sugarhouse airbnb and went shopping. This felt hat is perfect for the winter and has adjustable ribbons on the inside for those of us with larger (or smaller heads). I've paired this with my Canada Goose and blue reflective shades for a mountain look and my greed teddy jacket. I purchased both items in the second picture at Urban Blues in Sugarhouse, UT. #WinterFeels

Link to Hat - Unfortunately this hat is sold out online but should it be restocked, buy it!
I love this hat because of the smaller brim and the braided detailing. Pairing a smaller hat with an over-sized sweater, belt and skinny jeans is a great option, it doesn't take over the outfit. #FallBasics
